CROWDER, Jane Lynch - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

COVINGTON - Jane D. Crowder, 48, died at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Ill. Mrs. Crowder was a life resident of Fountain County and a graduate of Perrysville High School and Utterback Brown Business College. She was a resident of Rt. 1, Covington, for 28 years and had been employed part-time at Fountain Trust Co. in Covington since 1942. She was treasurer of Alpha Gamma Chapter of Tri Kappa Sorority at the time of her death. Born Oct. 6, 1923, in Danville, Ill., she was a daughter of Arthur Talbert Dennis and Hazel Lynch. She married Harold W. Crowder on Dec. 17, 1945. Survivors include the husband; a son, Wayne "Buddy, of Rt. 1, Kingman, and the mother, of Rt. 1, Covington. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home with Rev. Edgar Allen officiating. Burial will be in Lower Mound Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday. - jlr
